Welcome!!! For your consideration is a vintage small Starrett machinist surface gauge / gage with a 4" spindle. In very good condition for an used tool of it's age and use, it shows wear of nicks, scratches, superficial oxidation and some superficial pitting. All adjustments work as they should. The feeler bar looks like it was bent and straitened at one time but is functional. I believe this is an early model as it doesn't have a model number on it. The base measures approximately 2 1/8" x 1 7/16" x 31/64". A very nice Starrett surface gauge for the avid vintage hand tool collector and/or user!!!!!
