Vintage Steam Engine Marklin German Vertical Toy Model. This is a steam engine model that would drive a small steam toy, shop or power plant, or you could just have fun watching. This is a great vintage steam engine toy project for your collection, or to show someone else a how-to hobby. Condition is Very Good to Excellent. Rare Marklin German steam engine toy Model Number No. 4122. Pre 1929 shield / badge on firebox door. Wurtemburg '9' shield on boiler in beautiful condition. All original brass, tin, iron and steel construction. See photos for very interesting parts design, very unique and original antique Marklin. Boiler has steam valve with original antique wooden handle. has two open ports on top for your whistle or your other hardware. Has two brass bolts in side w a sight glass you provide could go. Has one additional open threaded port on side for drain valve you provide. Neat engine. Boiler is all brass and has chimney up the middle to supercharge the steam. No stand. Engine part found on stand missing (dynamo and switch panel). Other engine parts included as shown in photos. Includes whistle that is tight and mounted at a slight angle.
