This auction is for aSteiff Leo Lion, produced from 1964-1975. He is approximately 7" tall. He has his chest tag, and is in good condition with the exception of his missing ear button and tag. We believe he is either from the 1317 series or number 0800/17 based on measurements and comparison with photos in the "Steiff Sortiment 1947-1999" book by Gunther Pfeiffer. He is made of tawny-colored mohair with a soft mane. This animal comes from a non-smoking home, and was only lovingly displayed each Christmastime by a Steiff collector, never used as a toy.
