I love this charm! It reminds me so much of my childhood when my brother, sister, friends, and I would built snowmen in our yards. This charm just has that old-fashioned, simplier lifestyle appeal about it. It is a charm depicting two children building a snowman! The details on this charm are just amazing. I can tell they are children, and I can even tell that one is a boy and the other is a girl. They are dressed in their winter clothing of heavy-looking coats and caps. The snowman is great! He has everything a perfect snowman should have: a broom in his hand, a scarf around his neck, a carrot for a nose, and little raised round areas made to represent the coat for his eyes and mouth. The children are putting the finishing touch on him as they reach to place his old stovepipe hat on his head! You will love this charm. It measures 3/4" by 9/16" by 3/16" and weighs 5 grams. On the underside of the charm are two cartouches that I am sure are the maker's mark and the mark for silver content, but I can't read them. In my many years of selling charms on eBay, I have only had one other charm like this one and it was hallmarked 835. This charm is European and c. 1950's.
