I am pleased to offer this rare enameled vintage sterling puffy heart charm..................1940's era..............absolutely amazing baby blue vitreous enamel over the most detailed and beautiful butterfly................a must for any nature lover..............the color is not aqua or turquoise; it is a deep baby or sky blue or even can call it a powder blue color..........absolutely stunning................ I believe this process is called basse-taille........ however, I am not French, am not as up to date as some; however, this is not the guilloche process, as t is no engine turned design under the enamel, the butterfly is cast or engraved.................this beauty has but one, and only one, flaw.... t is a tiny 1mm chip/flea bite of the enamel at the very tip..... the photo is magnified, please keep this for your consideration ............ the actual enamel defect appears much much smaller in real size...................heart is traditional 5/8 inch, marked sterling, beautiful patina, and is engraved "Vernon" in fancy script..........I do feel you will be pleased with this fine beauty... t are few of these left in such wonderful condition, most have significant enamel loss................ this one is extremely small.................the enamel is just beautiful, and I thank you for considering this work of art and nature.........enjoy..............shipping is 2.00 for this little beauty.................... shipping is always combined for any items in one week from me......thanks so very much
