Hello, You are bidding on a set of 12 GORHAM Sterling Cocktail Forks. These beauties need a good cleaning and ready to be used for entertaining. They have 3 prongs, measure 4 1/2 inches tall and are adorned with cascading roses on their tops. They are hallmarked and I'm an amateur ( but enjoy it immensely) at decodeing them but I would at least say that they are old, exactly what time period I'm not sure and if your into Gorham, I'm sure from my picture you will be able to tell. They came in their original box, how cool. This auction will be ending right before the holidays, and I do ship immediately following payment but due to Thanksgiving, I will ship on Monday, the 26th. Hello, I want to thank a wonderful person for getting in touch with me and giving me more information concerning these forks. They said that they are Strawberry Forks due to the length of tines and overall length. Thank You Hikka. Hi t, this is just a bit of info for you, the forks are Strawberry forks, the total length and the length of the tines total up to strawberries. Seafood forks have shorter tines, also a bit differently shaped. You will find the pattern on Gorham´s, at a very good research site, /, it´s t, along with host of others. Great tool to have. Good luck, and don´t mind my rambles, just noticed you have started recently and it is not easy, i am sure. I buy, could not even think of selling, am too old for that. She left me know that these are in the Lancaster Pattern and I tried to revise my title to reflect this pattern but Ebay won't allow it, I assume it's because t are bids on the forks.
