's an absolutely wonderful and endearing vintage sterling silver and guilloche enamel silhouette pin by Norwegian silversmith, Aksel Holmsen. This pin measures 1-1/2" across and weighs 15.5 grams. Condition is vintage excellent with no cracks or chips to the enamel (not even at the edges), and the pin and safety clasp work fine. T is a fair amount of light wear to the surface of the enamel in the form of light scratches which doesn't show up in the photography. Hardly noticeable when viewed straight on with the naked eye, but I inspect my jewelry with a 10x jewelers loupe for my listings, and I can see the wear. This can be buffed out by a jeweler if desired or left as-is. The guilloche nicely imparts the scintillating appearance the atmosp briefly radiates when our sun goes down on big water. A lovely lady beneath a lacy tree beholding a sailboat on calm seas in the gloaming as the sun sets behind the twilit coastal mountains.........
