Being offered is this very heavy Vintage Sterling Necklace. This piece measures when laid flat approx: 17 1/2 inches long. The mark on the back side of this piece is a circle. Within this Circle is the word sterling and a letter B. Another word appears to be Taxco. Next to this mark is another mark that resembles the shape of a Bell. Within this bell is the number 28. The number for Bernice Goodspeed. What makes this mark a little harder to read is a blurred or double stamped look. This necklace has a total of 18 large rectangular, decorated pieces that make up the chain. Centered on this chain is a large sterling centerpiece that is terraced down to 5 drop sterling pieces. The design of this necklace has been referred to as Pre-Columbian, artifact design. Also a Bernice Goodspeed fascination. A very textured piece. This piece has the original patina or color has not been cleaned in many, many years. From the estate of a world traveler and fine jewelry lover. Buyer to pay for shipping and insurance. Please email me as I will answer all questions. Money orders, cashies checks, personal checks and paypal.
