This is a Wonderful, Vintage STERLING Silver Mexican Salt and Pepper Shaker set..that has its Original Under tray...that is also Sterling!...see images... Each of the Salt / Pepper containers measures about 2 1/2" tall from the base to the top of the finial...see images...The base measures about 1 3/16" in diameter...
The tray measures about 5 1/8" x 3 5/16". Each of the shakers boasts a wonderful Engraved floral and leaf design on the sides....see images...and the tray has engraved detailing as well...see images... All three items are clearly marked...the tray is marked on the back, on the edge...see images...it reads, "HECHO EN MEXICO 925 " and t are makers marks inside the circle that these words form...----the marks mean, MADE IN MEXICO and 925 means they are made from STERLING Silver. Each of the shakers are marked the same on the bottom...see images.. The bottoms of each shaker unscrew to allow for filling..... This set is in Wonderful shape for its age!..t are no large dings or dents, (just very fine and small imperfections..... and no major scratches,....just the very faint and fine surface scratches that you expect to find on vintage silver items.....see images.... I would have to categorize this set to be in Fabulous Vintage Condition!
