VINTAGE STERLING SILVER PUFFY HEART CHARM - Repousse Water Lily with Aqua Blue Enamel ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ DESCRIPTION: I believe this vintage sterling heart charm is from the 1940s. There is a repousse design with a water lily in the center. I know Walter Lampl also made this design, but this one does not have the backstamp. Then again, not all WL hearts have the hallmark on the back side. The background has been filled in with aqua blue enamel. There is a little bit of enamel loss/discoloration, particularly near the top center right above the flower (see photo). There are white spots on my photos, but this is camera flash, not an imperfection. This heart is marked Sterling on the back. There is no engraving on the back of this heart. This heart is in very good condition, with no dings or dents. The heart measures approximately 5/8 " in size. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ GENERAL INFO: I am not an expert - just a collector trying to support my own habit! There may be tiny scratches and imperfections that are hard to without magnification. Please be aware that all photos are magnified and show details that are not visible under normal conditions.
