Thia auction is for a vintage sterling silver charm bracelet featuring an exquisite assortment of charms and pendants made from salvaged turquoise, amber, carnelian & sterling silver Native American jewelry from such southwestern tribes as Navajo, Zuni & Hopi. I've also include pieces from salvaged sterling silver Mexican (Taxco) jewelry. I used salvaged parts of necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings, etc. and have included a few newer pieces as well. All interspersed with native green turquoise, carnelian and amber. T are so many beautiful native desisgns and patterns as well as so many native makers that in describing the charms & pendants please keep in mind that I do not know the correct names of a lot of those designs & paterns. The central focal pendant is a rather large circular beaded sterling silver set with 7 large oval green turquoise cabochons and measures 42mm in diameter (approx. 1.75"). This is a beautifully hand wrought piece and very heavy. Other pieces include: a 2 piece puffy sterling concho with native designs (squash blossom) and 2 small green turquoise cabs, a rare hand made tribal enlongated sterling repousse bead with an amber center and hammered florals in the silver with green turquoise (40mm long), 2 lovely carnelian bear tooth pendants, a sterling arrowhead, a green turquoise pillow with a sterling feather, a large round 32mm hammered sterling silver disc set with an oval green turquoise cabochon, a large 34mm oval cushion cut green turquoise cabochon set in heavy beaded sterling, 2 large carnelian polished nuggets, a round sterling pendant with a puffy beaded center and a circular curly-que border, a large turquoise enameled silver pendant with chevrons, a large oval sterling concho with tribal patterns and a round green turquoise cabochon, a large 35mm sterling spiral pendant with a green turquoise cabochon in the center, an old beaded sterling pendant with a half round green turquoise cab that has sterling silver inlay, another large 40mm long rare repousse bead with hammered floral patterns and a center of smokey amber (both repousse beads are absolutely gorgeous), another large oval green turquoise cabochon set in heavy sterling with some lovely embossed tribal patterns adorning the outer frame, a long figure eight sterling pendant with a beaded center and a large hand carved green turquoise bear fetish, a large 48mm long sterling pendant in a cornicopia shape with 4 sweeping points (nice), a large round 38mm partially open sterling silver hoop with a green turquoise nugget inside and wavy gtribal patterns in the lower portion (beautiful). T are gobs of green turquoise pillows, green turquoise rondels, polished nuggets, natural nuggets & freeform nuggets, green turquoise chips & healthy amount of accenting heishi. T are large polished carnelian rounds and smaller amber pieces to offset all the green turquoise that adds great contrast. Most of the vintage pieces have some wonderful patina on the silver that really aids in bringing out the beauty of the tribal patterns. I particularily like this color combo as it goes so well in any season. It measures 8" in length with 7.75" in wearable length. It has double interlocking oval links with a very sturdy sterling floral toggle clasp. T is a total of nearly 9 ounces in weight but it wears very comfortably and is the perfect accessory for dress or casual. As with all my bracelets this one was constructed with the same quality components and care, and all the charms & pendants are in fine condition.
