The pattern is âeoe Greenbrier âe and has proven to be one of the most popular designs Gorham offers.Since their wedding in 1949, my mother and father have lovingly collected this service, adding new pieces as they could afford it. Each piece has been cared for and used by my family at many a wonderful meal through the years and brings back bitter sweet memories. The set is made up of the following pieces and the total combined solid sterling silver weight of the service is 1,416 grams (45.5 Troy Ounces). The pieces are as follows: 8 Teaspoons , measuring 5.75" long with a combined weight of 200 Grams. 8 Forks , large size, measuring 7.25" long with a combined weight of 340 Grams. 8 Salad Forks, measuring 6.75" long with a combined weight of 300 Grams. 8 Knives, measuring 8.75" long with a combined weight of 480 Grams (silver weight is 112 Grams of sterling silver) Sterling Handles and Stainless Blades. 1 Gravy Ladle , measuring 6.5" long and weighing 60 Grams. 1 Cold Meat Fork , measuring 8" long and weighing 70 Grams. 1 Pastry Server , measuring 10.25" long and weighing 95 Grams (silver weight 14 Grams). 1 Butter Knife , measuring 7" long and weighing 40 Grams. 1 Pickle Server (Fork), measuring 5.75" long and weighing 20 Grams. 3 Table Spoons , measuring 8.5" long with a combined weight of 225 Grams. 1 Sugar Spoon, measuring 4.75" long and weighing 35 Grams. None of the flatware has been monogrammed and all pieces are in very good condition, purchased by my parents in 1949. The case is included with your purchase.....
