's a beautiful Vintage pair of GRAPE SHEARS for you. These wonderful scissors are solid Sterling Silver, with ornate Floral handles. Graceful three dimensional Grapes, Flowers, & Garlands adorn both sides of the handles. Enlarge the photos for close-ups of the intricate detailing! These decorative shears are ALL STERLING, not just the handles. They are 7 & 1/4 inches long & (closed) measure 2 & 1/4 inches wide. (25mm = 1 inch) The Blades close perfectly, & t's no wobble in the hinge. A sweet little Pansy adorns the rivet-head on one side. The pair has no Hallmarks that I could find. They're stamped STERLING along the edge of one blade near the hinge. These are very well-made , CLEAN , & left with its natural patina of age, not new-polished. Absolutely perfect condition, no damage, no repairs. The shears weigh 114.3 grams. THAT'S OVER 3 & 1/2 OUNCES OF SOLID SILVER!
