Welcome to Golds*Auctions! You are bidding on a vintage sterling silver Ice or Melon Tongs. My understanding is that this dates back to at least the early 20 th century and possibly the mid to late 19th century. Considering its age I believe this piece to be in great shape. It does need a polishing. The back of the curve is engraved with AWA This stamped with: STERLING, and Three symbols that I don't know what they are. (see photo) . Measures about: 6.5" Long. Comes from a pet free, smoke free home. If you have any questions please email them to me before bidding as all sales are final. Don't forget to check out my other items for more exciting items!
