Impressive piece of Taxco art. Looks like a running hog, not sure what it is. The work is beautifull. Looks like bone for the head and maybe rose wood with sterling detail work on the handle. The blade is heavy sterling in very nice vintage condition. It weighs 121 grams. About 9" long. There is a crack in the mouth area that looks old but it does not compromise the integrity of the piece--it is solid. See last photo. If unsure of anything please ask questions. Thank you
