This is a collection of 7 matched Sterling Silver Liqueur or Kiddush Cups. Number 8 is not , must have gone home with a guest years ago. The bottoms of the cups are marked Empress Sterling Weighted. This Silver is vintage, from an estate. The estimated circa is 1930s-1940's but we have nothing to prove that. The cups are stemmed and measure 3 inches tall and 1 5/8 inches across. They are gold-washed inside the cups. Six of them are in very good condition; the seventh has a few small dents. T really is no other visible scratching or other damage. The light patina adds to their appeal so we did not remove it. The only ornamentation to the cups is a small ring around the outside of the bases. Otherwise, they are very plain, simple and elegant. They could be used to celebrate Kiddush or for liqueur tasting at the conclusion of a meal. They will add a lot of grace to your table setting.
