VintageSterling Silver Telephone Award Charms Given By Siskiyou TelephoneCo. This is a vintage antiqued sterling silver telephone award charm given by Siskiyou Telephone in the 1970's. It was designed for necklace pendant charms for necklaces and bracelets. This charm is of the in style rotary dial phone face with numbers and is now a discontinued phone – so this was in the 1970's. (Because by the 1980s that the majority of customers owned push-button telephones in their homes; by the 1990s, it was the overwhelming majority. Thus some telephone systems in the USA no longer recognize rotary dialing by default and will only support push-button phones.) This charm is stamped "Attendance 10 Consecutive Years" on the top side and "Sterling" along with the signature stamp of "LGB". This is for L.G. Balfour, a silver charm maker and this charm is in the Original box with maker name on the bottom of the box. This charm has a bail on the top that has an opening of about 5 mm. This is a very beautiful pendant. As this is an item that was given by a Telephone Company who is a number one company in it's league, this charm is of top quality and is a very special thing to have in your collection.
