Vintage Sterling Silver Spoon Lake Louise Canada Enamel Description: This is a lovely little vintage sterling silver spoon from Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada. This small souvenir spoon has beautiful decorations on the front and is smooth on the back. The bowl has "Lake Louise" engraved on it in a nicely patterned font and there are several little flourishes or swoops engraved around the words. The stem of the spoon has some nicely detailed ornaments and the top of the handle is decorated with colorful enamel. The top of the spoon has an enameled crest, shield, or flag in bright colors - rich ruby red, aqua blue, canary yellow and pristine white. The crest is decorated around the sides and the top with a crown, wings, and the word Canada. The spoon is marked "Sterling" on the back with a maker's mark that is not clearly legible. This is a beautiful small spoon and would make a great addition to any spoon or souvenir collection. It is perfect for anyone who has been to Lake Louise. Measurements: Length: 3 3/8 inches Width of bowl: 3/4 inch Condition: Excellent; Vintage Pre-Owned Condition; silver is nicely patinated yet still very shiny; some signs of age with surface marks here and there mostly on the back of the bowl; this comes from a silver collection that has been stored away for many years.
