is a Vintage Sterling WWII 3D Navy PBY Patrol Bomber Aircraft. It measures a bit over 5/8" wide. The PBY Catalina or "Cat" as she was nicknamed, flew Patrols over the United States, during the Midway battles, anyw she was needed. She patroled looking for survivors of ships gone down. She bombed enemy ships that tried to get to the men first. Be sure to google the PBY Catalina for the whole story. Note the boat like hull on the underside of the charm.
