Vintage Stetson Homburg – 3X Beaver – Fedora Hat - 7 3/8

T was a time when every well dressed man wore a hat . . . and every well-dressed man had a hat for all occasions . . .

Whether you are thinking the Godfather . . . or the President of the USA . . . when a man dressed up, he wore a homburg . . . So it was then, and so it should be today.

In this auction we have a wonderful, vintage, midnight-black Stetson Homburg . An incredible 3X Beaver Fur Hat , in like-new condition . . . And in a hard to find size 7 3/8ths .

This Homburg is a treasure, with soft, buttery sable fur-felt . . . smooth and supple, and in excellent condition . . . Free of stains, tears, rips or anything marring the felt . . .

The hat has nice 2 inch pencil-rolled brim with a grosgrain binding on the edge . . . . a tall, 5 inch crown, , with a matching 2 inch grosgrain ribbon around the crown.

The inside lining is white satin. The 1 1/2 inch roan leather sweatband is still soft and supple.

They truly don’t make them like this anymore. Perfect for a day at the office, a night on the town, an evening of swing, or whatever you choose . . . This hat has true class!
