From My Personal Collection, This is a Matched Pair of Four Gold to Brown Pulled or Looped Feather Lampshades. Each Lampshade is lined with a brilliant Gold Aurene! These shades are brilliant white, with clean dramatic pulled feather lines starting at gold and ending at a rich brown! These are highly irridized shades, with wonderful rich highlights of magenta and rose! The color rivals Tiffany favrile and Quezal! They truely look beautiful lit or unlit! They have a dramtic bulbous body that ends with a full ruffled mouth! These shades are Guaranteed to be Vintage! Grandma says that she bought them as Steuben, that they were signed on the fitter and that she simply removed the signature by cleaning. Now Grandma does clean alot, and the Steuben signatures do come off relatively easily, but I think that these are the even more Rare Fostoria Iris Glass! Fostoria Iris Glass was signed only with a paper label, which was intended to be removed. You be the judge, I do guarantee them to be beautiful and VINTAGE! These shades stand 3 1/2" tall with a maximum diameter of 5 1/2", 5" mouth and a standard 2 1/4" fitter. Each shade is in Excellent condition! T are no fitter bites, no chips, no cracks, no problems!
