is a vintage STOKES TYPE WIRE BASKET RESCUE STRETCHER, as used by the Navy for transporting injured from ship to ship, also used for water/mountain rescue, t is no name on it, metal has moderate amount of surface rust on the bottom and a lighter amount on the top, the metal is solid throughout though, straps in good shape, the chicken wire has some minor dents and t that could easily be put back in place, looks solid, not mint but in good used shape, new version these days sells for $281 + $70 shipping - see link below: /equipment/item_2518.asp Use or makes a cool nautical display prop.
