Up for consideration is this unique vintage stoneware teapot. This teapot is unmarked so I can not tell you the exact era. However, I can tell you that it was purchased at an estate auction w many old pieces of glass and pottery were selling. This is a substantial sized teapot with the most beautiful detailed picture of deer with florals, trees, a bridge and an old building. It is almost a piece of artwork in itself. This very old piece of stoneware does have a couple of flaws that need to be mentioned. The spout has a couple of small chips, the inside of the rim has 2 flea bites and the lid has a small chip. Because of the chips and the problem with not having a maker's mark, I will be selling this at a very low starting bid with no reserve. Maybe one of you will be able to identify the maker for me. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
