ATTENTION: Please read this description carefully and email me with any questions before bidding. Also, remember to check this listing during the auction for any addendums I may add. A very fine example of this scarce pitcher with very pretty soft deep blue décor.No chips, cracks, or repairs. T are two tiny kiln related glaze blemishes , one on each side in the raised poinsettia which can be seen in my photos. T is a tiny wear spot on the tip of the spout and a piece of scrap clay tucked in to the bottom of the handle (see photo detail).The dark glaze line visible in that picture is only on that side of the handle and does not go through. It is not a crack and appears to be a darkened glaze craze line.The slightly darkened crazing visible in my picture of the interior is much less apparent than it appears in the photo.All of these very minor imperfections are common to stoneware do this type and manufacturing related (with the exception of the spout wear). I have described them in detail for accuracy's sake.6 & ¼" tall by 7 & ¾" length tip of spout to outside of handle. The identification and dating of Antiques and Decorative Arts is at times a more or less subjective endeavor. For a variety of reasons, one 'expert's' results can differ from another's.
