Vintage Store Candy Scale Jacobs Bros NY 1900s NR

Up for bid is an outstanding vintage general store advertising candy scale made for Jacob's Brothers of New York, NY. It is in great condition with no dents or dings, or chunks missing, it has a glass face plate over the scale measurement area, and it too is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The scale is in excellent working condition, it needs a small basket (which are fairly easy to come by) to hold the candy. It is made of cast iron, and is truly a one of a kind piece. It has a great patina to it, and excellent art work to the metal. It is marked "Jacobs Brothers, JB, New York, NY"on the top. It measures about 9" wide at the base, by 10 1/4" tall. A great early advertising candy scale, all ready to go for your general store decor. Ship cost is via priority mail, insurance optional. Ship cost on applicable larger items will be adjusted lower at invoicing for a winner close to us in location, again as always. If we make an occasional mistake, we will own up to it.
