These two stylish gold coloured metal powder compacts date from the mid 20th century and were made by Stratton of England. They both have an engine turned design and the larger one has a blank space for engraving initials. The opening mechanism on both works perfectly. I have not tried to polish them as I am not sure if collectors would rather have them left alone. There is a very slight indentation on the front of the larger one which only shows up if angled under a light. Please see the photos which show this.
