For auction is a gorgeous 6-string baritone ukulele. It is solid Koa, and has absolutely no cracks, holes, dings, dangs, or any other damage whatsoever. Besides the rarity of a 6-string baritone, this beauty has an unusual flat neck which makes it playable as either a regular uke or as a lap/slide instrument. I've never seen another uke with a flat neck like a lap steel guitar before, but it plays both ways very well. It is also unusual as it has a very distinctive two-hole, or double pooka, design. The neck is straight and tight to the body. The vintage tuners work perfectly and hold tuning very well. I do not know the original maker of this uke, but I am assuming it is Hawaiian made as it sports the Hawaiian state shield on the headstock and the back, including the butt plate, is all one piece. It is 30" long, 9 1/2" across the lower bout, and the depth varies from 2 1/2" to 3" top to bottom. The scale is 19". I am including a beautiful chipboard case, that's also in near perfect condition, in this auction. I truly hate to turn loose of this beauty, but I'm currently thinning out my "collection", and since I very seldom play it anymore my loss can be your gain. I am absolutely sure this beautiful instrument will make a great "player" or a unique addition to anyone's ukulele collections. If you have any questions just email me and read more
