Up for bids out of my collection is a Vintage Stromberg Carlson Rose Beige 1553 Wall Phone. The phone is in overall excellent condition with no cracks or chips. It is a true early Rose Beige model not repainted. The phone is dated 1958. It is Stromberg Carlson's answer to Western Electric's 554 wall set. The colored Stromberg Carlson versions are much more difficult to find then t Western Electric counterparts! This phone features some unusual features: it has a colored bakelite "Diamond" faceted handset and caps and a Porcelain dial number ring. These two items w optional featured items instead of the standard plastic components! I will be listing 7 different colors of this model wall sets, so keep an eye out. This unusual wall phone is a must for all you serious collectors out t or just for someone who wants something different. Please check my other listing for more telephones and parts.
