VINTAGE STUART NYE STERLING LILY BROOCH & EARRING SET**These three pieces of vintage sterling silver are a set of the Calla Lily series in a brooch and earring set by Stuart Nye of North Carolina**This is the famous silver flower series and the most famous “lily” pattern**When you see and feel this handmade workmanship, it is awesome to compare this antique against new machine made sterling pressed jewelry**There is a special patina from hand rolled sheets of silver that really shows in these three pieces**I did not polish but simply ran a polish cloth over each piece**It is in very excellent gently used condition. **It measures 2 ½” inches long by 1” inch wide. **The pin is marked with the “Shamrock” and “NYE” “Sterling” **Circa 1930’s**Each earring is marked “sterling“, one of the pair is marked “NYE”**A great older set for the avid collector or start a new collection.Some information about the Stuart Nye Company In the depths of the depression, Stuart Nye with an eye for beauty and faith in himself, he began to make a few simple bangle bracelets.
