I believe this is Mr. Bim from the Colombia Toy Co. He is holding a peeled banana. He is similar to Zip or Zippy form the Howdy Doody show. He is in extremely good condition. He has a rare colored fur of smokey gray. His fur is not matted or thinning. He is relatively clean with a small whitish spot on the face and very very minor wear to the rubber. The rubber is still soft and not discolored. He stands about 19 inches tall. He has wire in his arms to pose. He can also sit. These monkeys were popular in the 50's, 60's and early 70's I am unsure of his age and information on the net is scarce. One source says 50's and 60's /toptoys.htm His red suspenders are loose or had some kind of attachment to hold them together. Other than that this monkey is in near perfect condition. Please view photos for more detail. Also note the photo of his backside...it looks like his ear is discolored..that is just the blade of the plant. He is so cute!
