Eye catching opal in a gorgeous Victorian frame. Wonderful size, not too large and not too small. Gunmetal silver chaining with our signature hand forged adjustable loops and hook for simple closure. Loops and hook are made from non-tarnish sterling silver overlay with copper core. We sell both here on etsy and on other sites. We have many happy customers that purchase for themselves or as gifts. There are many colors that seem to shimmer and glow almost like cathedral crystal. These are one of a kind pieces as every opal is unique in the way the various colors are arranged. These stones are made in present day, but date back to Victorian times where they were worn in necklaces, brooches and earrings. The bail has a wonderful heart motif and silver cast. Please note that there is an ethreal quality where the stome shimmers amidst a creamy to clear background color. I tried to photograph at different agles.
