Up for auction is a vintage Sun Bonnet Sue quilt top (unfinished/no backing). This top measures 82" x 66" total. T is a 6 1/2" light pink, cotton border at the top and a 3 1/2" creamy muslin border at the bottom. It is made up of twenty-five blocks which have been sewn together by machine. ( Bubble gum pink cotton and creamy/muslin colored squares) T are thirteen hand embroidered girl outlines and twelve girls dressed in darling cotton prints. Over half of these have some type of extra embroidery work (flowers on their bonnets). Very bright, pretty colors. T is one small, light yellow stain on the bottom border and a light fade line going across the middle of the quilt top from being folded. Otherwise very good condition.
