Vintage Swagerty Kook a lele ukelele made in San Clemente area in the 60's. Companion to the Treholipee and Surf a lele these crazy ukes were designed to play and then when you wanted to surf you just stuck them in the sand by the headpiece! Such a great old relic from the crazy cool surf culture of the 60's. Pics show condition. It is in remarkably good condition considering it's age. All tuning knobs look great and the strings (nylon) are all there. Complete with the Swagerty surfer decal on the back of the neck.
