I am selling a vintage SWEDISH OPTIMUS No. 48 lantern, furnace, or stove. I don't know which one it is called. It is a polished brass metal. It is approximately 6 inches in diameter, and is almost 8 inches tall. It looks like it is missing some pieces that would fit into the three holes in the top of the legs. It may be missing other pieces as well. I'm not sure. On the edge of the top surface it says OPTIMUS No. 48. Next to that is a round world map which has OPTIMUS across it. Next to that which looks to be in 5 different languages, in English it says "SOLE MAKERS OF THE GENUINE OPTIMUS APPARATUS". Next to that is another round world map with the word OPTIMUS across it. Next to that is writing that is a language other than English. Maybe Arabic? I don't know. T are three brass colored legs that are hollow. T is a metal pump that goes in and out. T is a screw on type lid that may be w you fill it. On the side is a screw with a flat head that says SWEDEN on both sides. On the top of the stem that comes up from the base of the stove it says SWEDEN OPTIMUS. Some of the threads of the stem that screw into the top of the stove may be stripped so it fits loose. On close inspection, it looks like t may be some solder that is in the grooves of the threads which someone may be able to remove. I am not sure. I tried to take a picture for
