This is a wonderful and hard to find âe" Snowy or Great Horned Owl by Swisher and Soules âe" makers of such things to scare off the pests around the place. He is double sided and stands 14 inches tall. T are four original golden glass eyes âe" lights scratches in the glass on two of the eyes - but no cracks or chips or breaks. The owl is marked Pat-Pend. It dates to 1930. The Swisher and Soules Company was in Decatur, Illinois. Made of cast aluminum âe" with very nice detail âe" t are no apologies to the body. No breaks, cracks, or repairs. The original paint is mostly all t âe" it has never been repainted. The bolt most certainly looks to be the original bolt. In as found condition âe" it needs a light cleaning âe" but will clean up beautifully and I leave that fun to you.
