This is a wonderful find! This Baumann Buco flying pendulum clock is in working condition and comes with the original box and paperwork. The booklet describes the clock as follows... "The flying pendulum, which is an escapement of technical interest but unfortunately not nearly so accurate as the pendulum, was patented in 1883 by Adler Christian Clausen. It was not commercialized, but is still today considered a very original fanciful mechanism". The service guide says the clock needs to be wound every 2 days and has a running time of 70 hours. I had it running for well over 4 days before it stopped. It doesn't keep accurate time, but can be slowed down or sped up by lengthening or shortening the thread. I have let it wind down for shipping and it will need to be fully wound upon arrival. It could use a cleaning, as it's dusty and the copper face could use a good polish. I will leave the cleaning up to the buyer, so as to not damage it. The only damage I can see is a tiny chip off the tip of one of the legs (last picture). The box has some damage, but is still in quite good condition. It comes with the service guide, the original guarantee (including matching serial numbers), and a very nice booklet describing many of the clocks sold by the company. Will be packed and shipped with care, including full insurance. Terms and Conditions: read more
