Up for bid is a 1950Â's EFA Symphonic portable suit case type record player. My parents purchased this for me when I was age 16, I used it until I joined the USAF at 18 I am now almost 69. When I last used it, it worked fine now I cannot get the on/off button to work, the speed control ring around the outside of the on/off button works freely. I have no idea what could have happed to it in the 48 plus years that it sat in my parentÂ's attic. The genuine leather case is almost in new condition, no rips, no lose stitching. The inside is also in like new condition, The is a little dust and dirt in the corners in the inside, I did not clean anything before taking the pictures. See pictures. The case measures 15Â" wide by 19Â" long by 9Â" high. On the front are two knobs, if I remember right one was for volume and one was for balance or tone. Play speeds are 45, 33, and 78. This has the original 45 adaptor that came with it. The amp for this is tube type I believe. Inside the cover are the words, Deluxe Â"3Â", and on the inside front shelve are the works, Symphonic the Symbol of Superiority.Â" For someone who could fix this it would make a nice show piece. Thank you for looking. Payment and Shipping Instructions Payment to be made within 10 days of end of auction, if I do not receive payment or communication after ten days
