Unusual vintage table lighter brought back from Germany by a family member in 1950. It is made of heavy metal with a classic beer barrel design. I'm not sure what the metal barrel is made of, but the bands appear to be nickel. A small button on the side releases the spring loaded striker. Manufactured by Baier and stamped with the official Ges.Gech trademark. The city of Munich (Munchen) Germany is engraved on one side of the lighter. This lighter works with standard lighter fluid and flints. It has surface scratches and some minor defects that are visible in the photos. This is a great collectable or conversation piece for your bar. It weighs in at a hefty seven ounces and measures approximately 2" in diameter and stands about 2-1/4" tall. Please email any questions, and thanks for looking!
