Old Batik Tablecloth Offered here is a wonderful old cotton tablecloth that was handmade and batik printed in Sri Lanka in the late 1940's. The owner was a lady who spent 40 years of her life as a missionary in Sri Lanka and India. This tablecloth measures a large 63" x 76" and is in great vintage condition, despite being stored for all those years. The design is primarily red and white, but there is also hints of yellow that were left by the batik stamp as the fabric was being printed. Very unique. I did not notice any flaws, but there is a seam along one side to make the fabric wider. I have shown it in one of my photos, but it's really not very noticeable. From a non-smoking home. This is an interesting old beauty and would be a great addition for a Summer table or anyone who appreciates vintage linens! Please check out my other listings. I am happy to combine shipping.
