VINTAGE TALL TOWLE SILVER FLUTE STERLING CANDLESTICKS You are bidding on a pair of fabulous VINTAGE TALL TOWLE SILVER FLUTE STERLING CANDLESTICKS . Each are a substantial 7 1/2 inches tall and have a large base diameter of 3 3/4 ". They are solid, and weigh about 40 oz together . T is nice MODERNE detail around the circumference of the bases . Also, these have a gorgeous floral/ tulip shape on the column tops, a mark of fine craftsmanship. This set is in excellent condition with no monograms. The candlesticks have been lightly polished by the silversmith and are bright and shiny. Each are marked âeoeTOWLE STERLING weightedâe. We believe these were made about 1950-by TOWLE Manufacturing Co. One of the most striking candlesticks I have seen from a great MA Co. making quality sterling since 1872!
