Hi! Thanks for visiting my auction! What we have is the following: A vintage Tangley coffee tin. Folks, this one is rare. I called the Muscatine chamber of commerce to research the Tangley company and they had no record of it ever existing. On the label it does say "not inc" below the name of the company so it never was incorporated. A couple variations exist of this tin and all are as rare as they can be. It is probable that all were issued within a very short amount of time, because t is no record of the company having ever done business from w it came from and these tins almost never turn up. All variations, this one included, are paper label tins. This one is nice considering it is paper label and considering it's age (right at 100 years old). This tin is the 3 pound size, 5" diameter and 10" tall. Ask any questions you might have and I'll do my best to answer them. Don't be scared by the reserve. This tin has only come up on ebay once to my knowledge, and it was one of the variations, not this one. It went for quite a bit. If you have to drop out of the bidding you probably will never get this tin. If you ask me I will tell you the reserve privately.
