Tau nton Silversmith SHERIDAN Tea Set Tea Pot, Sugar (with Lid), Creamer and Tray Brand New VINTAGE. Over 20 years old - but still New in the Box. Freshly polished. Tea Set - 4 pieces (5 pieces if you count the sugar lid separately) - Tray, Tea Pot, Sugar with Lid, and Creamer. Lid on Tea pot is hinged and part of the tea pot - not a separate piece. Beautiful elegant tea set. Each of the four pieces is marked with the signature LION mark - with the SHERIDAN name, and TAUNTON SILVERMITH. The tray also says: EP BRASS. Silver plated - over brass. Footed Tea Pot, with hinged lid - approx 10.5 inches tall, and 10 inches wide from handle to tip of spout. Tray is approx 12 inches in diameter - fancy scroll work on the tray with a border that I would describe as a pie crust border. Footed creamer is approx 3 inches tall, Footed sugar bowl is also approx 3 inches tall (without the lid) and approx 5 inches tall with the lid. Lid to the tea pot and lid to the sugar are matching designs (as you would of course expect). It was in need of polishing when I took it out of the box - as can be expected with silverplating - and we gave it a quick polish to shine it up for the photos - it certainly shined up very nicely!
