VINTAGE TAXCO MEXICO MEXICAN 980 SILVER DECO BRACELET

DESCRIPTION : You are bidding an AWESOME 980 silver (which is superior to sterling silver which is 925) bracelet that was handwrought in Taxco, Mexico, in the late 1930's. This bracelet is masterfully crafted in a super art deco style. It consists of four thick rectangular, convex links ~ the links have an elegant, simplistic style ~ these four links are connected with wide handmade domed links. The closure is a simple hook closure that is seen on much of the early Mexican silver jewelry. This is a very old vintage piece ~ it is extremely well crafted and is a real classic! SIZE: Inside circumference when closed is 7", width is 3/4", and weight is 49 grams. CONDITION : Superior vintage condition ~ no dings/dents to silverwork ~ no damage noted ~ rich, age associated patina to the silver ~ just about PERFECT! HALLMARKS : Simply hallmarked "TAXCO, 980" on the back of one of the links ~ please note that the "980" mark is raised ~ the earliest Mexican silver jewelry had raised hallmarks. PL EASE NOTE: Mexican vintage si lver jewelry is hand wrought, and tfore, not perfectly symmetrical ~ each piece will have variances that indicate that the piece is hand made ~ this does not constitute damage. Please look at all of the photos provided as they are a part of the description. Vintage pieces will show various signs of wear since they have been pre-loved ~ items are described to the best of my ability and any known damage will be noted. An email with payment details will be sent when the auction ends. Payment must be received within 5 days of auction end or the item will be relisted ~ if paying by e-check through PayPal, your e-check must clear within 5 days of auction end (please do not wait for days before paying by e-check which would delay payment beyond the 5 day days as it takes 4-5 days for e-checks to clear).
