DESCRIPTION : You are bidding on an OUTSTANDING sterling silver and lapis lazuli necklace that was handwrought in Taxco, Mexico, after 1978, by silver. This necklace is masterfully crafted in a magnificently classic design that has a wonderful art deco look. It consists of thick, very dimensional sterling silver links that have thick slabs of rich, dark blue lapis lazuli inlays ~ the of colors of the lapis stones are magnificent ~ please be sure to supersize the photos! The links are connected with soldered silver jump rings at the top of the links allowing the necklace to gracefully and comfortably lay around your neck when worn. The clasp is a tongue and box closure that works perfectly and closes with a crisp 'click'. This is a classically elegant and timeless TAXCO vintage necklace ~ it is extremely well crafted, comfortable to wear and a joy to behold ~ a must have for the serious collector of Taxco vintage silver! SIZE: Inside circumference when closed is 15-1/2", width is 1/2", thickness of links is 1/4", and weight is 51 grams.
