This lot is an original boxed pair of Taylor & Barrett harness racers. I got these toys from the original owner, whose father brought them back from a New York trip many years ago. This toy set was purchased at F.A.O. Schwarz in New York City and their sticker is still on the end of the box. These were never played with, but somehow over the years, one jockey's quirt was broken. I think it could be repaired with gorilla glue, but will leave that possibility up to the new owner. The loose part will be enclosed in a small bag and put in the box with the toys.The label on the end of the box says No. 813 Trotter sets (2) made in England for Midwest British Importers.I will gently pack these back into their original box with some soft padding to keep them from chafing, then will pack it inside another box with peanuts in between the two boxes.
