This is the very rare classic all-original model cement store display made by Testors during the late 1950's and early 1960's. This 5" x 3.5" x 4.5" tall cardboard box has a flip top lid which stands vertically at the rear of the box and acts as a sign, These were placed on the front counter at hobby shops and toy stores during that time to convince model car, plane, ship, and monster model kit buyers to purchase glue. The box originally held 24 tubes of Formula "A" extra fast drying cement at 15 cents per tube. Seven unused unsold tubes remain. Some are slightly caved in, and one has leaked a bit from the bottom. They still give a little when they are gently squeezed, so there is still some liquid or semi-solid in each one. The box is complete and intact with strong edges and corners. There are some storage type scuffs and small tears here and there. The lid still folds up, but is very fragile. Box colors are still bright and shiny. A scarce 50+ year old somehow surviving display item in this condition are a must for any vintage model kit or hobby shop fan or collector. Shipping cost is based upon whichever USPS rate makes the most sense given my attempt to limit the purchaser's cost while delivering the item in a timely manner. Larger items may be sent UPS if that rate is cheaper than USPS. All sales outside the U.S. are mailed. read more
