This auction is for a vintage Texas Mid- Continent Oil &Gas Ass’N. Porcelain sign. This is a sign from the 50s that was posted at a Phillips Sixty Six (66) gas plant in West Texas. The sign is 10-3/4” high by 17-3/4” wide. It is in great shape for its age. There are signs of rust stains and some chipping from the bolts that were holding it to the post for over 50 years. It is black with white lettering and a white border around the sign. This is a very rare sign and I personally have never seen another one like it! NO RESERVE!!! The sign reads as follows: $ 100.00 Reward FOR THE ARREST. CONVICTION AND COMMITMENT TO PENITENTIARY OF ANY PERSON COMMITING FELONY THEFT AGAINST THESE PROPERTIES TEXAS MID-CONTINENT OIL & GAS ASS’N.
