Theo A. Kochs Barber Shop Pole This auction is for a Vintage Theo A. Kochs Barber Shop Pole . This original barber shop light pole is quite a rare find. It was made by Theo A. Kochs Company, who was a Manufacturer of Barber Shop and Beauty Shop Equipment, from around the 1920s or 1930s. It is an Original and has been used. T are some knicks and paint chips in the paint, and the inside could use a little cleaning, but is in great condition for its age. The best part, IT WORKS !! The pole lights up and the stripes spin around. The globe that is usually found on the top of the pole is missing, however a suitable replacement could be found anyw This barbershop pole is classified as an 8" pole (the diameter of the glass is about 8"). The height of the visible glass is 17 3/4". The dimensions of the entire pole are approximately 10" wide (at the widest part of the pole) x 33" tall. The pole also has a very durable mounting bracket with two bolts for hanging. The bracket adds about another 4" to the width of it. I would prefer to have this item picked up, but will ship if necessary. I know the shipping is steep, but this is quite an irregular item to ship and it will take a bit of time for proper packaging.
