Up for auction is this lovely vintage Theodore Haviland Limoges France small coffee, tea or cocoa pot. It is a lovely item and belonged to my mother in law. It holds about 3 cups of liquid and measures 6 inches tall to the rim and about 8 1/2 inches to the top of the finial. It is a very attractive piece and does not have any crazing. There are no chips or cracks on this piece. There is some gold loss on this item. On the very top of the finial there is a little gold loss and some areas around the outside rim of the top but it is not overwhelming. Also the handle has a small amount of gold loss. On the bottom of the pot inside a green square it says THEODORE HAVILAND in a horseshoe shape and on a line across the horseshoe it says FRANCE. At the bottom of the green square it says IVORY CHINA. Below this marking in a maroon colored ink it says Theodore Haviland Limoges FRANCE and then in green ink it is marked Sevres. Inside of the lid it is marked Theodore Haviland Limoges FRANCE in a maroon colored ink and below that Sevres in green ink. I am going to attach pictures of the markings to this listing but they did not come out all that clear in my picture so that is why I am describing this item.
