This incredible looking vintage tube PA amp head was manufactured by Thordarson, and uses a tube contingent consisting of four 6L6’s, two 5Z3’s and one “80”. Please note, when I received the amp it had all the old tubes inside, but I have removed the power and rectifier tubes AND THEY ARE NOT INCLUDED. I am selling the tubes separately in other auctions. The unit for sale shows typical signs of age and use, and it looks like the original back panel is missing and t are two circular opening on the top front which look like they may be missing bulbs and bulb covers, but other than that it looks fairly complete, with the original chicken head knobs and a very cool electric “eye” on the front. I have absolutely no way to know if the unit works, and it currently has the original screw on microphone inputs and odd jacks for the four external speakers. I’m guessing the unit will need some work, at least a cap job, but for you tube jockeys out t looking to create the ultimate in original guitar amps, this would make a great project. The unit measures approximately 19” by 13” by 11”. Please see my photos below to have a look at this nice item.
